We tried to raise the basketball standards so we could play some volleyball, but the cable had come off the pulley and jammed in the motor. So I climbed up there to get the cable back on the pulley. It took a little effort, and Sister Langford was sufficiently impressed by the feat that she took pictures with her iPhone, and emailed them to the bishop. Now he calls me "Spider-Man"...
We wanted to play some volleyball, but the basketball standard wouldn't retract. The cable had come off the pulley and was jammed up in the motor. We didn't have a tall enough ladder to reach it, so I climbed on a chair rack, and up onto the backboard frame to un-jamb the cable. It took a little doing, but I got it.
Meanwhile, Sister Langford was impressed enough by the feat that she took pictures of it and emailed them to the bishop. Now he calls me "Spider-Man".
I'm just glad I wasn't there when all of this was happening. I would have had to leave the room.
BTW - Rachael and Karla - Blogger was having issues last week after they did maintenance on the site and your comments were deleted after I had published them. Sorry!! Comment again!

I am sure there was a logical explanation for his behavior. What is it?
Is he hanging up there on the basketball hoop so that he can "help" his team's shot go in the basket?? That's cheating you know!! =)
